National Police agents have arrested a 24-year-old man in Arrecife as the alleged perpetrator of twelve robbery offenses committed between 2017 and 2020.
Last October, the National Police received a complaint from a resident of Arrecife, stating that while he was at home he was able to verify that his high-end cell phone had disappeared. The police officers who went to the scene found that the window of one of the rooms of the property had been forced.
The investigation carried out by the agents of the National Police allowed to determine the participation in the criminal offense of a 24-year-old man, who would also be in an irregular situation in Spanish territory.
On the other hand, the police efforts allowed to verify that he had also participated in another eleven criminal acts of the same nature in the last three years. Finally, and after being located in a street in the capital of Lanzarote, the alleged perpetrator of the events was recently arrested and placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
