The management of the Lagomar restaurant contacted lavozdelanzarote.com this Monday to signify that the leisure center has nothing to do with the aggression that occurred in its vicinity last week and in which a 14-year-old minor, previously accused of tampering with the parts of a motorcycle, was attacked by the owner of said vehicle.

The restaurant argues its detachment from the events, as it seemed to emerge from the press release sent by the Armed Institute.

As will be recalled, the Civil Guard of Costa Teguise arrested C.H.O., 18 years old and resident of Playa Honda, for a crime of Injury, although in its statement the Armed Institute stated that it could not clarify whether the minor was actually manipulating the motorcycle or if he approached it for another reason.

The Judicial Authority issued a Restraining Order by which the detainee, who had various parts of his motorcycle stolen on repeated occasions while it was parked near his workplace and who during his statement to the Civil Guard expressed his regret for the events that occurred, cannot approach within 300 meters of the underage victim.

After the intervention of the Civil Guard, eyewitnesses claim that they saw the minor carrying the gasoline tank of the vehicle, a large displacement motorcycle, after which they alerted its owner. The same sources even point to the existence of a gang dedicated to this type of criminal acts.

The matter is in the hands of Justice, which will have to elucidate whether the aggression occurred deliberately against the minor or whether prior to this the victim was actually stealing some part of the vehicle.
