Agents of the Local Police of Teguise arrested a man on July 19, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health, in Caleta de Sebo in La Graciosa.
The police action began after the agents suspected that there could be a possible sale and consumption of narcotic substances during the celebration of the festivities. The agents managed to locate and finally identify the alleged perpetrator of the events, who, upon noticing the police presence, shows a suspicious behavior and attitude.
Next, the agents proceeded to search the suspect and his belongings, finding in his possession approximately 367 grams of hashish, 26.86 grams of cocaine and 216 grams of marijuana, as well as a precision scale, a knife, cash and documentation.
The identified and later arrested, 41 years old, responds to the initials of J.D.T.C., is of Spanish nationality, and after carrying out the respective procedures he was transferred to the Civil Guard Barracks of Costa Teguise, and later placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
