Police officers belonging to Group III and the Documentoscopy Unit of the Local Police of Arrecife, in collaboration with the local police of Fuerteventura, have managed to proceed with the immobilization and detention of a caravan truck carrying license plates from the United Kingdom and expired since 2004. The vehicle was immobilized for the first time on Océano Atlántico street in Arrecife, but later its driver moved to Fuerteventura, where the truck was immobilized again.
According to the Arrecife City Council, police officers belonging to Group III and the UDOC located the vehicle on Oceáno Atlántico street in Arrecife. When checking their data, they realized that the truck was exporting license plates from the United Kingdom, which had expired since 2004 and without European approval. In addition, the agents verified that its driver, of French nationality, did not have the necessary valid circulation permit, so he was sanctioned and informed that the vehicle would be immobilized as a guarantee of payment of the detected infractions.
However, the driver broke the order transferred by the police units and boarded the truck to Fuerteventura. Subsequently, and after detecting this new infraction, a device was launched, in which, thanks to the collaboration of the local police of Fuerteventura, they managed to locate the vehicle together with its driver in the municipality of La Oliva. After that, all its occupants were identified and the vehicle was immobilized again.
