The ground floor of a restaurant in Puerto del Carmen suffered a fire in the early hours of this Saturday, June 24. The fire took place around 5 a.m. on Cenobio Street in the tourist town, according to the Emergency Consortium.
Once alerted by the CECOES, firefighters, agents of the Civil Guard and the Local Police have moved to the place.
The fire affected a semi-basement from which smoke was coming out of the windows. The firefighters proceeded to flood with foam through the window while forcing the door with the help of the radial saw. Later they were able to extinguish the flames and ventilate from two points.
