The fisherman who fell into the sea this Thursday from the breakwater of Las Cucharas Beach in Costa Teguise has died, as confirmed to La Voz by health sources.
The man died at the Molina Orosa Hospital, where he was admitted in serious condition, after being recovered from a cardiorespiratory arrest.
It was at approximately 3:30 p.m. this Thursday when the incident took place on Las Cucharas beach, where a boat rescued the man from the water. Once on land, the SUC paramedics confirmed that he was in cardiorespiratory arrest and managed to reverse it, but unfortunately, shortly after being admitted to the hospital, he died.
