A fisherman has been transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital after falling into the sea from the breakwater next to Las Cucharas Beach. According to 112, the man has been recovered from a cardiorespiratory arrest, but has been evacuated in serious condition.
The events took place at 3:25 p.m. this Thursday, with two ambulances from the SUC, beach surveillance service personnel, the Security and Emergency Consortium, Civil Protection, Local Police and Civil Guard moving to the area.

The affected person, whose age is unknown, was thrown a rope that he was able to hold on to until a boat rescued him and took him to the beach.
Once on land, the SUC staff verified that he was in cardiorespiratory arrest, so they initiated basic and advanced resuscitation maneuvers, managing to reverse the arrest.

After being stabilized, he was evacuated in an advanced life support ambulance from the SUC to the hospital.
