Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote have come to the Open Mall shopping center in Arrecife alerted by the smell of burning in one of the warehouses. Alerted by the Emergency Coordinating Center (CECOES), they moved to this space at 12.30 pm this past Sunday.
Once on the scene, they verified that the Stradivarius store's warehouse had filled with smoke. Once on the scene, the store staff informed the firefighters that they had removed an electrical device that had overheated.
The island's Emergency Consortium firefighters ventilated the warehouse and verified that there were no outbreaks of fire activated in the space.
