The Civil Guard dismantled this May 15 a point of sale of drugs camouflaged as a cannabis association in Tahíche, as La Voz had advanced. As part of this joint operation, under the name 'Patrycios', agents of the Benemérita of the Las Palmas Command and Customs Surveillance of the Tax Agency have seized 298 plants of marijuana.
The operation took place last Monday at 12.30 noon. During the operation, they have also arrested three people for a crime against public health. One of them in a cannabis club in Tías and two others in Tahíche.
The operation began in November 2022, when investigators found that a cannabis association, located in the town of Tías, was engaged in the sale of marijuana and processed and derivatives of hashish.
After the appropriate police investigations and the necessary follow-ups, the investigators managed to locate and identify the origin of the substance and the supply point of the cannabis club, which was a house located in the municipality of Tahíche.

Already in the exploitation phase of the operation, Customs Surveillance of the Tax Agency and the Civil Guard carried out two entries and searches on May 15. The first, in the house in Tahíche, where they proceeded to arrest two people and seize 298 marijuana plants, 2.5 kilos of buds, 8 kilos of chopped marijuana, 94 grams of marijuana and 89 jars with hashish derivatives.
On the other hand, and in order to know and verify the destination of this crop, another entry and search was carried out in the cannabis club, where 607 grams of marijuana buds, 97 grams of hashish, 21 grams of chopped marijuana, 22 jars with cannabis-derived liquid, 20 marijuana cigarettes, 15 jars with hashish resin, hashish food products, cash and four syringes prepared with 500 ml of liquid THC were seized, which is why they proceeded to arrest three people for the alleged authorship of a drug trafficking crime.
With this operation, the point of sale of cannabis derivatives in the municipality of Tías and the plantation that supplied it is dismantled, identifying those responsible for the possession of all the objects and substances seized, leaving all the actions at the disposal of the corresponding Arrecife duty court.
