The Civil Guard is investigating the causes of a fire that took place this Saturday in a house in Puerto del Carmen. The fire started at around 6:00 p.m., at which time the firefighters of the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium moved to put it out. It is Casa León, a luxury home in the tourist town.
Once extinguished, the judicial police sealed off the house and summary secrecy was ordered.
