Allegedly, she sprinkled flammable liquid on the vehicle that was on public roads, and thanks to the owner's intervention, only part of it was burned.

The Civil Guard of Costa Teguise has investigated a 58-year-old woman, of Spanish nationality and with no police record, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of damage for trying to burn a neighbor's car in the municipality of Haría.

According to reports from the Benemérita, the investigation began on the night of March 26, when the investigated allegedly sprinkled a flammable liquid on the car that was on La Quemadita street. The event took place at around 10:30 p.m. when the vehicle began to burn, although thanks to the intervention of the owner who managed to put it out quickly, only part of it was burned.

The next day, "based on the investigations carried out by the agents, who verified a series of prior threats by the aforementioned woman, they located and investigated her as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of damage, although the collaboration of other people in the events is not ruled out."

The investigated has been placed at the disposal of the corresponding Court on duty in Arrecife
