Three young men have been arrested this past weekend by the Civil Guard, accused of a crime of robbery with violence and assault.

According to a statement from the Armed Institute, two young residents of the Santa Coloma neighborhood of Arrecife were assaulted and attacked last week, on a beach in Puerto del Carmen and in the early hours of the morning.

The aggressors, who used knives to carry out the robbery, injured an 18-year-old causing him stab wounds in the right shoulder, left side and in a tendon of one hand. The other victim, 20 years old, was intimidated with a knife and had his wallet stolen with 20 euros, along with a mobile phone and two silver chains.

Faced with these serious events, agents of the Investigation Group of the Civil Guard of the Main Post of Tías, initiated intense investigations to locate the aggressors.

The first indications pointed to the possible involvement of young people of South American origin living in Arrecife, where the civil guards instructing the case went.

During a meritorious police investigation, the agents acted incognito frequenting for several days places and premises where mostly people of Colombian nationality met, relating to them and gaining their trust, until this weekend they managed in this way to identify and locate the perpetrators of the described events.

Initially, L.F.B.S., 18 years old, was arrested, later N.N.C., 18 years old, and finally, A.Q.G., 22 years old (known for his aggressive character and with a history of other violent acts). The three subjects of Colombian origin have been accused of a crime of Robbery with Violence and Assault, for which they were placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority in Arrecife.
