The Civil Guard from the main post of Costa Teguise proceeded on October 25th to arrest a person, of foreign nationality and initials G.M.A., as alleged perpetrator of several crimes against property, committed in hotel complexes in the town of Costa Teguise.
The investigation began as a result of a significant increase, from mid-August, in crimes committed against property, where the alleged perpetrator of the acts only stole cash.
Members of the Investigation Area of the Civil Guard of Costa Teguise deployed a surveillance operation in one of the complexes harmed by the robberies, which allowed the arrest of G.M.A., al being caught in the act when he was going to commit another crime.
With this arrest, the Civil Guard has been able to clarify, to date, a total of seven crimes against property committed in the area, supposedly by G.M.A.
The detainee has been placed at the disposal of the respective Court, acting as Guard, of the town of Arrecife.
Arrest in Tías
On the other hand, the Civil Guard of the Main Post of Tías, arrested on October 30, a person of Spanish nationality and initials D.B.W., as the alleged perpetrator of two crimes of robbery with force in las things, one of them being committed in an attempted degree.
During the early morning of August 2 of the current year, several robberies occurred in a hotel complex in the town of Puerto del Carmen, in which a series of personal effects such as laptops, tablet computers, cameras and cash were stolen in cash.
For all these reasons, members of the Investigation Area of the aforementioned Main Post initiated the consequent investigations to locate and arrest the perpetrator of the robberies, ending with the arrest of D.B.W. as the alleged perpetrator of the facts described.
The Civil Guard continues to work on the recovery of the stolen effects.
