The Local Police of Arrecife arrested on the afternoon of Friday, 28th of
January, a 22-year-old man from Morocco, as the alleged perpetrator
of a robbery with force in an attempted degree.
The events occurred in a house located on Severo Ochoa street in
the capital, when supposedly the detainee climbed the outside
of the house and, after breaking a skylight, entered the house with
intention to steal. However, the intervention of the owner of the house
who, at the time of the events, was inside, was key
for the arrest of the alleged thief.
In addition to notifying the Local Police, the owner of the house managed to retain
the thief until the municipal agents arrived, who proceeded
to the identification of the young man and his subsequent arrest for an alleged
crime of robbery with force in an attempted degree, since he did not commit
the robbery. Finally, the young detainee was brought to justice.
