A windsurf board, quad wheels, a tablet, up to 3 compressed air pistols and 330 grams of hashish. All this is what the staff of the San Bartolomé City Council found last Friday, who went together with workers from a bank to two 'occupied' apartments on Velero street in Playa Honda. The Civil Guard has already related the tablet to a robbery that took place in that same town and is investigating the origin of the rest of the objects.

The municipal workers had gone to number 2 Velero street to "wall up" those properties. To do this, they were accompanied by employees of the bank to which these apartments belong. These two apartments are actually divisions of a larger house, also inhabited by 'squatters', and which has its main entrance on the perpendicular Las Playas road. According to the Civil Guard and the City Council, the "altercations, shouts and parties" in the building had been the subject of multiple neighborhood complaints. In the early morning of January 5, firefighters even had to go there to extinguish a fire in the main house.

Upon finding those objects, the pistols and the drugs, the municipal workers notified the Local Police and the Civil Guard. The Benemérita then began an investigation and for now has been able to confirm that a tablet found in one of those apartments had been stolen from a house on Siroco street, also in Playa Honda. Its owner confirmed to the agents that it was her tablet and that it had been stolen.

The agents are now studying whether the rest of the objects could be related to "different robberies in the area" and are working to "clarify" the robbery that they have already been able to relate to the appearance of these effects. The two houses are uninhabited and were empty at the time of the discovery. The Civil Guard has indicated that for the moment no arrests have been made.
