The other two suspects involved in the fire that left three people injured in a house in Arrecife, for which two arrests have already been made, are still at large, as confirmed by the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands (TSJC).
Two women have already been arrested for these events, and they were imprisoned for three counts of injury and one of arson with risk to life or limb after appearing before the judge of the Court of Instruction number 3 of Arrecife. However, as stated by the TSJC on Tuesday, they were also waiting to arrest two men for their alleged participation in the fire, who have not yet been located.
The fire took place in the early hours of August 14 in a house on Blas Cabrera Topham street inhabited by squatters where, according to neighbors, discussions had been taking place. Three men were injured in the incident, one of whom was admitted to the Molina Orosa Hospital in critical condition with multiple burns, and was transferred to the Burns Unit of the La Paz Hospital in Madrid a day later.
A second person suffered third-degree burns to his legs and was admitted to the ICU of the Lanzarote hospital after the events, while the third, who was also evacuated to the Molina Orosa Hospital, also had injuries to his legs, but of a minor nature.
