A 50-year-old man has been seriously injured after overturning on the LZ-3, at PK 4.5, towards the Airport. The accident took place at approximately 4 a.m. this Wednesday, April 12, as reported by CECOES.
The Emergency Consortium, two ambulances, one medicalized and another with basic life support, from the Canary Emergency Service and the Civil Guard have traveled to the scene.
Firefighters had to free the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle as he had been trapped.
The health personnel has assisted the injured person who presented severe polytrauma and after stabilizing him, he has been transferred in a medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The Civil Guard has instructed the corresponding proceedings.
