The City Council of Tías has reopened Playa Chica, in Puerto del Carmen, after being closed this Thursday morning after detecting contamination in its waters.
During the routine analysis carried out on this beach this Wednesday to determine the water quality, it tested positive for pollutants, so it was closed.
However, the Consistory has reported that "after re-analyzing the state of the water, the result has been negative", so they have decided to reopen it to the public.
