The Local Police of Arrecife have arrested R.A.B.M. as one of the alleged perpetrators of the robbery that occurred during the early hours of last Tuesday in the San Marcos cafeteria in the capital.
The man, 28 years old, was arrested at about 03:10 hours, after a patrol observed a suspicious attitude in two individuals who were right in front of the aforementioned premises. Given these facts, the agents state that they returned to the place and saw that "a new individual (the now detained) had joined the group" and that when he became aware of the police presence, "he started to flee leaving behind a bag containing 16.19 euros."
One of the agents followed the group and managed to catch up with the now detained, after which they returned to the premises. There, together with the owner of the establishment, they saw that there were obvious signs of registration and verified that the cash register and a slot machine were forced, so, after informing the detainee of the reasons for his detention and the rights that assist him, they transferred him to the police premises, where, according to the Police, he provided the names of his two companions.
