A 60-year-old man has been moderately injured after leaving the road and overturning with his vehicle on the LZ-40, the road that connects the airport with Puerto del Carmen.
The accident occurred at around 08:30 hours near Rancho Texas and firefighters had to release the driver of the vehicle, as he could not get out on his own.
In addition to the Security and Emergency Consortium, Civil Guard agents and two SUC ambulances, one medicalized and one basic life support, were dispatched to the scene of the accident.
SUC medical personnel assisted the affected person, who presented moderate multiple contusions, and transferred him in a medicalized ambulance to the Molina Orosa Hospital. For its part, the Civil Guard took charge of the corresponding proceedings.
