A woman was injured this Friday in the collision of two vehicles at the Altavista roundabout, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The accident occurred at approximately 4:16 p.m. when CECOES was alerted. Local Police officers, Civil Guard, firefighters, and two ambulances from the Canary Islands Emergency Service were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel found that a person was trapped inside the vehicle and paramedics were attending to them. Firefighters rescued the injured woman and placed her in a safe place. Subsequently, the healthcare staff transported her by ambulance to Molina Orosa.
Afterward, the firefighters disconnected the battery of the vehicle involved in the accident. For their part, the police officers regulated traffic and carried out the corresponding report.
