Firefighters rescued on Saturday morning a man who suffered a fall inside a stranded boat on a plot of land in an urbanization in Playa Blanca, according to the Consortium of Emergencies.

The events occurred around 09:15 hours, at which time the CECOES received a distress call. When the emergency services arrived at the scene, healthcare personnel were already present.

The firefighters carried out an assessment of the injured person's location and possible injuries, so they requested that a medicalized ambulance attend the scene from the 112.

Simultaneously, an ECO3 vehicle with a crane was dispatched in case its use was necessary. Once the ambulance arrived at the scene, and after the doctor's assessment, it was decided to establish an IV line for the injured person to reduce his pain.

After that, the man was moved with the help of a spinal board and spider strap to the stern of the vessel where the firefighters' crane vehicle was already positioned, which was responsible for transferring him to the ambulance and, subsequently, to the José Molina Orosa Hospital.
