National Police agents have arrested in Arrecife a 48-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman, both with numerous police records, as alleged perpetrators of a burglary inside a home. Thanks to the collaboration of a neighbor who provided the physical details of each of them, they were located a few meters from the house where the burglary had been committed. During the security check, the stolen objects were seized.
The events unfolded after a woman called 091, alerting that a window of her home was forced, so she was afraid to enter, in case there was someone inside. Thanks to the collaboration of a witness, who provided physical details of both perpetrators, they were located a few meters from the house. The perpetrators of the burglary were carrying two plastic bags containing various stolen objects.
After verifying that a window giving access to the house was forced, and the stolen objects were recognized by their owner, the agents proceeded to arrest them as alleged perpetrators of a burglary.
After drawing up the corresponding police report, the detainees were placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority. The police intervention was carried out by agents from the Arrecife Police Station.
