The Civil Guard of the Main Post of Costa Teguise investigated on October 2 to a resident of the municipality of Haría, 37 years old, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of simulation of crime, by faking a theft in her home.
The investigations began as a result of the complaint of the aforementioned, who on September 21 reported to the Civil Guard the alleged theft, committed inside her home, of a debit card and the corresponding PIN number or key, then disappearing from her bank account 2,885 euros.
However, the police investigations carried out by the Citizen Attention area of the Main Post of Costa Teguise allowed to gather the necessary police evidence to prove that it was a false complaint.
She claimed she was in Gran Canaria when she was in Lanzarote
According to the Benemérita, there were several inconsistencies in what the complainant stated to the police about her alleged stay on the Island of Gran Canaria blaming medical vicissitudes of a family member when in reality she was in Lanzarote.
In addition, it was found that the complainant had requested a loan of money with a lender, so she allegedly intended to have her bank pay the amounts that she had voluntarily withdrawn herself from different establishments and ATMs in Lanzarote.
The investigated has been made available to the corresponding Court, on guard duty, of Arrecife.
