The Security and Emergency Consortium rescued an injured hiker this Tuesday in Montaña Roja, in Playa Blanca.
Around 12:29 p.m., after being alerted by the CECOES, firefighters and an SUC ambulance went to the area.
When the firefighters arrived at the scene, they found that the woman had suffered a broken ankle and was being treated by the health services. The health personnel put a splint on the affected ankle and subsequently the emergency personnel put her on the stretcher and lowered her from the side of the mountain to the ambulance.
Later she was transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
