The Emergency Consortium had to act in the rescue of two hikers in trouble in the Playa de La Fuentecita de Los Ajaches, in the municipality of Yaiza. At approximately 7:40 p.m. this Sunday, CECOES received an alert reporting that the two women, of English nationality, were lost in that area.
Once the firefighters moved to the place, the Local Police informed them that they had located the hikers with the drone but that with their vehicle they could not reach them.
Upon arrival, the firefighters verified that the two women were in good condition and in their vehicle. Subsequently, the Local Police was in charge of taking them to the Police Station and the firefighters transferred two agents to the police facilities.
