The Emergency Consortium has rescued a paraglider who fell into the water near the Punta Fariones lighthouse. The accident took place at around 1:00 p.m. this Saturday, January 7, when CECOES was alerted.
The firefighters located the athlete on land on the northwest side of the lighthouse, he was in perfect condition. He has been evacuated with all his belongings and taken to the port of Órzola, where the Local Police and an ambulance from the SUC were located. The affected person has rejected the transfer to a hospital.
