Firefighters put out a fire in a vacant lot inside an urbanization in Playa Blanca early this Monday morning. The fire occurred around 4:24 a.m. on Malvasía Street in the tourist town.
Once alerted by the CECOES, agents of the Local Police and the Emergency Consortium went to the place.
The firefighters verified that it was a fire of garbage remains and abandoned furniture inside the lot. The Emergency teams extinguished them with sprayed and jetted water.
Container fire in Puerto del Carmen
Hours before, the CECOES alerted the Emergency Consortium about the fire of a container on Doramas Street in Puerto del Carmen.
It was a paper and cardboard collection container. The firefighters extinguished the fire with sprayed and jetted water and later with foam.
Local Police officers also went to the scene.
