In the early hours of this Thursday, May 4, a lamppost caught fire in Félix el Zapatero street in Arrecife. The firefighters, alerted by the CECOES, went to the place to check the status of the luminaire that occurred around 0.34 hours.
In the presence of the Local Police they were able to verify that it is a lamppost fire in a pedestrian street. A fire that has self-extinguished.
Before finishing the service, they proceeded to remove the fuse to replace the burned lamppost with a new one. In addition, the Consortium has informed the Local Police to report to the operational services of the Arrecife City Council.
A cable about to fall due to the wind
The previous day, this Wednesday, May 3, the wiring of José Pereyra Galviaty street in Arrecife also came off.
Alerted by the Local Police, the Security and Emergency Consortium went to the place to fix that wiring around 7.57 hours.
When the firefighters arrived in the area, they found that it was the telephone and ADSL cable that had fallen due to the wind and was preventing the passage of vehicles and buses.
Shortly after, they proceeded to fix the wiring to the facade tensioners with flanges, with the help of ECO2.
