Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium extinguished a fire in a house under construction on La Rosa street in Costa Teguise on Monday night.
After being alerted by the Cecoes around 11:15 p.m., the firefighters went to the scene, finding a contained fire inside the house upon arrival.
When the foreman opened the door to access the interior, the firefighters were able to remove the remains of a bag with garbage that was smoldering, proceeding to extinguish it and ventilate the interior of the house, ending the service. According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, Local Police and Civil Guard also intervened.
