Kenneth V.V., the fake football scout accused of sexually assaulting and corrupting minors in the Canary Islands, faces up to 86 years in prison for the alleged commission of sexual offenses against around 61 underage victims and the intentional manipulation of minors to gain their trust. This has been reported by the newspaper La Provincia.
This fake coach was imprisoned in Tahíche prison (Teguise) until last Wednesday, when he was transferred to Gran Canaria prison.
This police operation, dubbed fake manager by the Civil Guard, is investigating a 25-year-old who posed as a fake scout and contacted victims through social media. The detainee claimed to be a sports manager and offered minors false opportunities for promotion in high-performance clubs or promised to promote their profiles on specialized networks.
The Civil Guard managed to analyze the content of the mobile phone seized from the detainee and obtained multiple statements from both victims and witnesses.
After gaining the trust of the minors, he allegedly emotionally manipulated them to obtain pornographic material and facilitate intimate encounters with them. The Benemérita stated that these alleged sexual assaults took place on different occasions against several of the minors.
According to the Civil Guard's investigations, the victims reported that he showed repeated insistence in discussing sexual topics and in requesting explicit photographs.
Likewise, the accused took advantage of his position as a sports representative to control the minors. The investigators detected fake profiles that the detainee managed to capture new victims, offering money in exchange for sexual acts.
A Sporting Trip with Minors
The arrested individual was detained on a first occasion and breached the judicial measures that had been imposed on him during his initial arrest. The Civil Guard reported that he took a sports trip with several minors, despite having been prohibited from engaging in activities related to children.
He was therefore arrested again on November 12 in Fuerteventura, and ordered to be taken to prison for violating precautionary measures. After the first arrest, he spent a few days in El Hierro.
