The firefighters of the Security and Emergency Consortium have had to evacuate an injured woman this Friday through the balcony of a house in Arrecife.
After being alerted by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands of the fall of a person inside a house, the firefighters went to Otilia Díaz Street to proceed with the opening of the property.
Once on the scene, and in the presence of the health services and the Local Police, the firefighters proceeded to access the house through the balcony with a ladder, verifying that an elderly woman was inside, on the floor, "unable to move and with dyspnea."
Thus, the firefighters opened the house, with the health services providing first aid. Subsequently, the aerial ladder was positioned to evacuate the woman to the ambulance.
