Emerlan carried out a rescue in La Graciosa and two evacuations to Lanzarote this Wednesday, one of them with the medical team from the health center.
Regarding the rescue, at approximately 12:21 p.m., the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands notified Emerlan that a person had fallen on uneven ground in the Los Morros area, near Pedro Barba.
Emerlan contacted the callers to verify the location and, once on site, assisted the person, who had multiple contusions and trauma to the ankle, and was transferred to the La Graciosa office with the support of the Local Police. Subsequently, at 2:25 p.m., 112 activated Emerlan again to evacuate the patient to Lanzarote by boat.
Also, at 11 p.m., Emerlan participated in the evacuation of another person due to chest pain from La Graciosa to Lanzarote.
