A man has died of electrocution this Friday at midnight in the Valparaíso urbanization of Playa Blanca.
According to the Emergency Consortium, when firefighters arrived at the scene they found the injured man on a hydro with a water leak and without vital signs, next to an electrical panel that was located at the door of the room, with the levers down.
As a precaution, firefighters proceeded to remove the fuses from another electrical panel that was in the hallway, and then removed the body with the dielectric rod. They removed the body to the hallway of the house, at which point the Health Services certified that it was an "exitus", a medical term to refer to death.
Immediately afterwards, the Local Police took charge of the custody of the corpse until the arrival of the Civil Guard, informs the Emergency Consortium.
Local Police, an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service and personnel from COBRA were dispatched to the urbanization.
