The fire of a vehicle has forced the evacuation of people from a building in Arrecife. The event took place at approximately 5:22 a.m. this Saturday on Sol Street in the capital of Lanzarote.
Agents of the National Police, Local Police and the Emergency Consortium have traveled to the scene. The agents of the Local Police initially confined the people inside because the smoke and heat did not allow evacuation. And once the firefighters extinguished the fire, they were able to evacuate the people until the apartments were ventilated.
Once it was verified that the building was free of smoke and the fire had no possibility of burning again, people were authorized to enter their homes.
