Arrested in possession of 26 ecstasy pills in a special device near the La Factoría nightclub

The National Police also arrest another alleged hashish dealer on Caldera de Taburiente street

National Police agents from Arrecife have arrested and brought to justice Jonay Ramón F.B., a native of Arrecife, 19 years of age, who is accused of a crime of selling narcotics and who already had three previous arrests, one of them related to drugs and two others for crimes perpetrated against property.

According to a statement sent from the Police Station of the capital of Lanzarote, the events occurred on July 2, when agents assigned to the MIP-PPP were carrying out a device set up to suppress the small-scale sale of narcotics in places considered to be black spots. Specifically, it was in the vicinity of the La Factoría nightclub, in Arrecife, where the police officers proceeded to arrest the aforementioned, who was seized a total of 26 ecstasy pills, 1.69 grams of cocaine, along with the sum of 70 euros.

Once the appropriate procedures were completed, the detainee was brought to justice together with the seized effects.

The same statement from the National Police indicates that on the same date and for identical reasons, police officers arrested the young Lorenzo Manuel M.O., a native of Arrecife, 19 years of age, who was seized the amount of 45.29 grams of hashish, along with a certain amount of cash. The aforementioned, who was brought to justice together with the seized substance, already had three other arrests, one for crimes related to drug trafficking, and the others for crimes against property and resistance to authority.
