National Police agents have arrested in Arrecife a 33-year-old man of Ecuadorian nationality, with numerous police records as the alleged perpetrator of crimes of trespassing and breach of sentence after accessing through a window inside the property of his ex-partner, who discovered him in the living room while searching his mobile phone. After being surprised, the man locked himself in one of the bedrooms of the house with a minor child of both, where he was arrested by police officers.

The events unfolded after a woman called the 091 telephone number reporting that she had just surprised her ex-partner in the living room of her house, whom she had recently reported for an alleged crime of mistreatment and who also had a restraining order in force.

The man, who at that moment was searching the woman's mobile terminal, then went to one of the bedrooms where the son of both, a minor, was sleeping and locked himself in with him.

The police officers immediately accessed the interior of the house, where they proceeded to arrest him as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of trespassing and breach of sentence. After the corresponding police report was prepared, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
