An accident on the airport highway has caused a major traffic jam. The collision took place at approximately 1:15 p.m. this Monday, March 20, on the LZ-2 in the direction of the south of the island.
Once alerted by the CECOES, agents of the Civil Guard, the Emergency Consortium and an ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service went to the place.
At least two vehicles have been involved in the collision and one of them has left the road due to the impact.
According to the Emergency Consortium, the affected people have been attended by the sanitary personnel and later they have been transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa hospital. The firefighters have proceeded to disconnect the batteries.
