Firefighters have rescued an 18-month-old baby who had been locked in a car in Arrecife. According to reports from the Emergency Consortium, the child had taken the key remote and accidentally locked the closure, thus being trapped inside.
The events took place this Tuesday around 08:00 hours on Almería street in the capital of Lanzarote. The parents, realizing the situation, have notified 112, which has been responsible for activating agents of the Local Police and the Emergency Consortium.
Firefighters were able to open the vehicle with the help of expanding cushions and a rod and managed to get the child out safe and sound.
