Neither the Local Police of Arrecife nor the National Police intervened in recent days in response to an assault on a pregnant woman at the Arrecife Carnival.

A hoax circulating on social media asks to identify two young women, who were allegedly disguised as zebras and who allegedly physically assaulted another pregnant girl. The publication, which circulates on different social networks, assures that the alleged victim lost her child after the assault.

In a post initially shared on Instagram, but which has not stopped being shared on other social platforms, help is requested to locate the alleged aggressors and a contact account appears. However, as La Voz has been able to confirm, neither the Local Police of Arrecife nor the National Police have received any report of an assault of this nature.

Sources close to the Local Police of Arrecife have assured that there has been no hospital attention for a pregnant young woman who has lost her baby, nor a report at police stations for these events.
