National Police agents, in collaboration with the Local Police, arrested a 33-year-old woman, with no police record, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health, in the police operation carried out last week in a cannabis club on Calle La Inés in Arrecife. In addition, in the search carried out by the agents, 3,130 grams and 18 marijuana plants, 45 grams of hashish and 2,155 euros were seized.
According to the National Police, the operation was carried out after receiving anonymous information that placed a possible point of sale of narcotics in a premises owned by a cannabis association, located near several schools in Arrecife. Police investigations made it possible to verify that numerous adults and minors went to the aforementioned property to buy and consume narcotics.
With the mandatory judicial order, agents carried out a search of the aforementioned premises, in which 3,130 grams and 18 marijuana plants, 45 grams of hashish and 2,155 euros in cash were seized. The person in charge, who was inside, was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health.
After the corresponding police report was prepared, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority. The police intervention was carried out by agents of the National Police with the collaboration of members of the USCI of the Local Police of the municipality.
