The rubble that came off a house on Segovia Street in Arrecife this Thursday hit a woman on the head, who had to be transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital. "I ended up with five stitches in my head," says the victim.
"I was walking along peacefully when a stone fell on me," says the affected woman, who says that at first she thought someone had thrown it at her. "And suddenly I felt dizzy, I felt something dripping on me, I thought it was water falling on me, but it was my own blood," she says.
After that, she asked a girl who was in a car to call the police and the ambulance. "It was all very fast, they arrived in ten or fifteen minutes, and the ambulance took me to the emergency room," explains the injured woman who, although she was discharged after receiving five stitches, says that she is still in pain. "I can't move much," she concludes.
