Emergency services rescued a woman and three children who had been trapped in the crater of the La Corona Volcano at around 7:00 p.m. this Tuesday. According to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES)-112, which was the one who alerted of the event, none of them were injured.
The firefighters went to the scene, where they found that the woman and the three children could not get out of the crater. "They accessed the minors and helped the Civil Protection personnel, who were with the mother," they pointed out from the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium. When they were together inside, they made three groups to leave and used a rope to facilitate the way for the woman. "Once outside and in the area of the cars, the rescued people were approached to their vehicle, which was on the general road," the firefighters pointed out.
