A vehicle has overturned this Friday morning at the roundabout connecting the LZ-1 with the LZ-10, the road that connects Tahíche with Teguise.
After being alerted around 09:00 hours, the firefighters went to the scene, verifying upon arrival that the vehicle was off the road, in a lateral rollover position. The paramedics and the Local Police were already at the scene and the driver and sole occupant was already being attended to by the health personnel.
The firefighters proceeded to disconnect the vehicle's ignition and apply the handbrake and, subsequently, once they received authorization from the Civil Guard, they placed it on its four wheels and pushed it to a safe area off the road. Subsequently, they cleaned the area of glass and plastics.
As confirmed by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands, the driver of the vehicle refused to be transferred to a health center.
