A tourist was injured with a fracture in his arm after falling down the Quíquere Ravine, as reported by the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium.
At approximately 5:15 p.m. this Friday, CECOES received a call alerting them that a person had fallen in a difficult-to-access area of the ravine and was injured.
Local Police, Civil Guard, Civil Protection agents, an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service, and firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
The healthcare personnel attended to the affected individual at the scene and applied a bandage to his arm. Subsequently, the firefighters accessed the location where he was and he was transferred on a stretcher to the ambulance to be taken to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital afterwards.
