A team from the Civil Guard of Madrid will travel to Lanzarote this Monday to collaborate in the investigation of the disappearance of Romina Celeste Núñez, whose husband was arrested this Sunday after finding "reasonably sufficient indications" to presume his authorship in the events, expecting him to be brought to justice within an estimated period of 72 hours.
On the other hand, following information spread on social networks about the discovery of Romina's body, which the Civil Guard "categorically" denied, agents of the Benemérita have been permanently guarding the house where the young woman lived with her husband since Sunday night, as confirmed by sources close to the case.

The Civil Guard continues with the investigation to clarify the facts and locate the young woman, and is also still pending to carry out the corresponding search of Romina's home, which was sealed off on Friday, the day on which agents also searched a plot of land near the house in search of clues.
Romina Celeste Núñez has been missing since January 1, although her disappearance was not reported by her husband until a week later, as he himself confirmed to La Voz, where he stated that the reason he had not reported it earlier was because "it is not the first time" that his wife had disappeared and he thought that "she had left" the house voluntarily.
