The Volcán de Tauce ship, coming from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, has listed this Friday morning in the port of Los Mármoles. According to Naviera Armas, the list was due to a water transfer problem due to a fault in an internal pipe.
The Volcán de Tauce, which usually travels between Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura, is currently operating the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria-Arrecife line as a replacement for the Volcán de Tamadaba, which has been temporarily withdrawn for the corresponding review that is carried out every two years.
The ship's passengers, around 80 or 90 people, had to be evacuated, several with obvious signs of nervousness after the event, one of them, according to the shipping company, suffering an anxiety attack. At noon, the merchandise and cars on board were able to be removed from the ship, and the company has reported that it would sail again once the unloading was completed.
