The Civil Guard of the Main Post of Tías arrested on February 12 a person with the initials I.M.A, of Polish nationality, against whom there was an international request issued from his country for a crime against property. The detainee, 42 years old, was located in an apartment complex in the municipality of Tías.
The Civil Guard received the information through the consultation of the database of the Traveler Registration Books, regulated in the Organic Law of Citizen Security, so they knew of the possible existence of a person of foreign nationality with a signal or judicial requirement from Poland.
"Once the pertinent checks were carried out with the SIRENE (Supplementary Information Request at the National Entries) file to verify the validity of the signal, they moved to the apartment complex where I.M.A. was staying, in the municipality of Tías", explains the Civil Guard in a statement. Once arrested, the agents of the Territorial Team of the Judicial Police (ETPJ) carried out the corresponding procedures and made him available to the judicial authority of the Central Court of Instruction of Madrid, through his delivery to the Guard Court of the town of Arrecife.
