A man of German nationality has been rescued by firefighters after falling with his paraglider in the middle of the mountain near the beach behind Órzola. He was slightly injured with a trauma to his leg.
The event took place at 3:00 p.m. this Saturday. The paraglider suffered a fall in a cliff area. The 1-1-2 has activated the necessary emergency resources. Agents of the Local Police, Emerlan volunteers, firefighters from the Emergency Consortium, Civil Guard and Civil Protection volunteers have moved to the scene. SUC personnel have assisted the affected person at the scene of the incident. Then, with the collaboration of Firefighters and Civil Protection, the paraglider has been evacuated on a stretcher to the place where the ambulance was located, in which he has been transferred to the Molina Orosa hospital.
The Civil Guard and Local Police have collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources and have instructed the appropriate procedures
