A new boat located near Lanzarote, the tenth of the day

There were 50 people on board, including 18 women, two of them pregnant, and nine children

Maritime Rescue has rescued another new boat near the coast of Lanzarote, the tenth of the day, with 50 people on board.

According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, there were 50 people on board, including 18 women, two of them pregnant, and nine children. All of them of sub-Saharan origin.

The occupants of the boat are scheduled to arrive at the Arrecife Commercial Dock around 1 p.m., where they will be attended by Red Cross volunteers.

This is the tenth boat to reach the island in a single day, after eight were rescued in the early morning and the one that arrived on its own to Los Cocoteros on Thursday afternoon.
